Danielle Snaza
Co-Founder, Literary Artist
Danielle Snaza (she/her) holds a B.A. in English & Psychology with High Honors from Lehigh University, and an M.S. in Narrative Medicine from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine.
Danielle has dedicated her professional and personal life to supporting individuals through difficult experiences, and fostering a safe environment for them to share their stories and explore how those experiences have impacted them. She firmly believes in the power of narratives and art as effective tools for expressing complex emotions and mitigating the sense of isolation that often accompanies pain.
She draws on her involvement with Break the Silence (BTS), a gender-violence prevention program at Lehigh University, where she delivered presentations on gender-based violence prevention and provided support to survivors. She also has ample experience organizing various programs including Take Back the Write, an event focused on using writing as a means to process trauma, and helping survivors craft their narratives for the Take Back the Night Speak-out event. Through these initiatives, she has realized the privilege of accompanying others in their healing journeys.

Danielle is currently pursuing her Psy.D. and working with individuals as a therapist. As a psychologist, she will guide others through their struggles and empower them to reclaim or reshape their identities as they navigate life’s challenges. Ultimately, she will strive to create a safer and kinder world by providing a space of non-judgemental support and expression for those who are often silenced or unheard.
