Step 1: Interview

Step 2: Art Artifact Creation

Your interviewer will create an art artifact artistically representing your story. You are able to co-author the art piece with your artist to ensure it represents you and your story.
Step 3: Display Art Artifact in the Healing HeARTs Virtual Gallery

Interview Logistics

One-hour, one-on-one interview, online or in-person.

Interviewee will sign the Consent form prior to the interview.

Interview content and questions will be tailored to the Interviewee's preferences and/or specific narrative they want to share. Interviewee can also request to see the interview questions prior to the Interview. However, please don't feel obligated to prepare responses.

Potential interview question types can include: childhood, career, values, dreams, how you identify yourself, etc.

During the interview, Interviewee has the agency to:

answer or deny any interview questions.

expand upon any narrative of their choice even if not directly asked about by your interviewer.

take a break from or leave the interview and the subsequent art creation process at any point for any reason.

Step 2:
Collaborative Art Artifact Creation

Art Artifact Creation Process

The interviewer and/or other artists of the Healing HeARTs team will create an artistic artifact representing the interviewee's story through musical, literary, and/or visual arts (digital art, photography, etc).

The interviewee has the choice to co-author and co-create their artifact with their interviewer/artist(s).
Step 3:
Display Art in the Virtual Gallery
Art Displayed in Virtual Gallery
After the art artifact of the interviewee's narrative is created:

A small introduction/biography about the Interviewee will be written by the interviewer. Interviewee has the option to use a Pseudonym if desired.

Upon the Interviewee's approval, the introduction/biography will be uploaded along with the art artifact to the Virtual Gallery for publication.
